Eric Goldberg has released his book Character Animation Crash Course which is undoubtedly going to be listed as the next generation's Animation Bible beyond that of Ollie and Frank's effort (which has been the industry standard to date, and it is essential).

I haven't bought any books in a while. Recently I dropped by Kinokuniya in the city and picked up some stuff I'd been after in a while. The Art of CarsThe Art of Cars was one book I had been waiting for. It coincides with the release of the Cars (Widescreen Edition)
DVD here. I don't want to crap on about the book, but I will encourage those of you who love to gaze at all those sketches that artists do before they get polished... then get this. The Art of Cars has some incredible pastel art, pencil sketches and great concept art that definitely make this worth the money.
