The long, tough slog through mediocre-ville. To be the best, Seth Godin explains, you must concentrate your effort, push a little harder, commit a few more resources and leave mediocre to those willing to be average.

Once again he gives the most amazing advice in a simple and easy to follow manner.

I haven't bought any books in a while. Recently I dropped by Kinokuniya in the city and picked up some stuff I'd been after in a while. The Art of CarsThe Art of Cars was one book I had been waiting for. It coincides with the release of the Cars (Widescreen Edition)DVD here. I don't want to crap on about the book, but I will encourage those of you who love to gaze at all those sketches that artists do before they get polished... then get this. The Art of Cars has some incredible pastel art, pencil sketches and great concept art that definitely make this worth the money.
