I've always been a big fan of Seth Godin. He's just released an eBook which focusses on building websites for the better. If there is anyone better to listen to regarding making your site the best, Seth is by far the best. His books are fantastic. There are too many people out there writing about this stuff as self publishing has become more achievable. But Seth is an ex Marketing Manager from Yahoo and knows his stuff well. Take heed.
