Loeb does Eisner on the big screen

Jeph Loeb has been hired to adapt Will Eisner’s THE SPIRIT for a cinema release. The story follows a presumed dead masked detective who uses his questionable existence as an advantage in fighting crime in Central City.

Loeb is a supervising producer on the WB's SMALLVILLE. His comicbook credits include the Eisner Award winners BATMAN: THE LONG HALLOWEEN and BATMAN: DARK VICTORY. And if you haven't seen his work with Tim Sale, look it up!

Inspector Gadget Movie

This'll be interesting, DIC have finally made an animated feature film of Inspector Gadget. However....this one is 3D animated. I was hoping for 2D. Anyways....

The movie features the beloved detective in CG animation for the first time. When a living prehistoric Giant Flying Lizard egg is found in Metro City, the Mayor wants it for a tourist attraction and Dr. Claw wants it for world domination. Gadget, along with his sixteen-year-old niece Penny and her smart dog Brain, must rescue the egg when Claw steals it, and save Metro City.

What more could you add to it.

Exhibitions this year

Oookay, been a while for updates. Too much going on at once and lots of organising. Currently in the process of arranging a suitable exhibition for next years comedy festival. Dropped out of this years national tour with the Nat.Museum's exhibit. I've decided to take a break for a while and focus more on my comic strips and short films. I've almost completed the follow up to the first animated Action Heroes of which Keith Scott has voiced. This time starring Sly Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. A rip roarer of a funny film and one I'm looking forward to completing. I've been thinking about working with a few colleagues on doing a short film showcase of our own personal work that hasn't been screened as yet. This can always be fun as there is so much of our work the public never get a chance to see and it allows us to show off our archives of stuff we've been itching to get out.

I'll post some images of the new short film soon.
