PVP

I enjoy reading PVP and it has grown over the years. Recently Scott Kurtz got a lesson from a Mac user on colouring techniques and now he's going a little crazy with coloured linework. Disney did this in animation a while back. Can look good but not in excess. The strip i've linked here is great but the gradient he's done in the background really is bad. The foreground has all the nice flat tones to it that make the characters really quite vibrant. Then there is the background. A little distracting after a while, especially when you are adjusting your glasses thinking it may be that stigmatism playing havoc again. All part of the learning process though. Love it !
