Hoo are you to Judge

I've been invited as a VIP judge to the National Schools Cartooning Competition. The judging is being held tonight at the State Library of NSW in its Glass House. I remember judging at last years and there were a number of entrants that obviously had redrawn cartoons that they had seen before. It helps narrowing down the copiers and then seeing the real creatives left. There were only 6 from memory last year that caught my attention out of a large number (more than 80 posted on the walls as finalists). With any luck the gags will be a little better. I judged years ago when Princess Di was killed and there were a million cartoons from all over the nation with really bad Mercedes jokes in them. I'll be keen to see what comes up with this new lot.
